In 2018, I was newly diagnosed with cancer, and it was a wake-up call that made me reflect on my life’s purpose. During this time, my son shared a powerful story with me about a colleague in Togo. This man had established a school in his impoverished village, and despite facing immense challenges, the school quickly grew to serve nearly 900 students. It provided these children with not just an education, but a hope for a better future, something I knew was life-changing.
